Benevolence

Benevolence Be kind! Be magnanimous!! Be compassionate!!! Be humanitarian! Be Good!! Merely doctrines or principles of practice? Every school of thought, every being from the previous generation preaches goodness. Doesn't it? It does. We are born with certain innate traits which come naturally to us, effortlessly. Benevolence is one such trait. But as we grow and there are layers over layers of acquired personal characteristics, it gets dumped under the unnatural, conditioned, oddities and principles. Living is so much more easier with what is within and which does not require thinking or analysing. However, we are breeding generations who are more critical than appreciative, dejected than jovial, rejecting than appreciating- the reason being the choices available and rigidities. We need to rejuvenat...

Acceptance

We all have, at some time or the other, experienced this simple to preach and yet so difficult to practice- Doctrine of Acceptance. Mentors, preachers, counsellors and well wishers have told us, ' Acceptance is bliss'; Happiness follows Acceptance'; Acceptance is the greatest Healer'; Acceptance of the unacceptable'; 'Acceptance and tolerance and life altering lessons'. We heard to soothe our ears. We let it not enter our souls because we knowingly or unknowingly indulge in self pity and relish it even more when sympathised by acquaintances, close and not so close. But does that dodge our mountain of uncertainty and discomfort even by an inch? It sinks us further. And out of that crowd of sympathisers, if a sensible saviour tries to drag us out of that pit by explaining Acceptance, we would consider it apathetic. Here's the irony. If an X, Y, Z says it, it's apathy but when we say it to ourselves, it HEALS.... And there begins the journey of Acce...
Tete-a-tete Brain (B): Breathing I am, living I am. Heart(H): Are you? B: Yes, of course. H: (sarcastically) Oh yes indeed, I can see that. B: In fact, I look at myself with awe. H: Oh really? B: I exist everywhere, I ensure perfection, I think free, I express free, I breathe free, (pause). Do I? H: Don't you? B: I think I do. H: Something is choking. B: Everything is perfect. Nothing can be better than what is. H: I feel so too. B: Oh wow! For the first time we agree. H: But then why this restlessness, this discomfort, this doubtful prevalence? B: Explore what would appease you? H: How? I am not as rational as logical as you. B: You have a greater power - Intuition and sensitivity. H: I am not sure. B: I swear. Trust the timing and calm down.

Legacy#blessings your way#little ones

Hello Young Man, How are you today? Restless, freaky and ‘on the go’ as always, I am sure. There is so much you want to do. Don’t you? Your own little manufactory is tirelessly minting ideas. And you leave no stone unturned to execute them. As you grow inch by inch, the wordly formulations and dogmas try to engulf you but you fight hard to unclutch and run back to your ‘Godliness’. As God is to the world, the creator and the caretaker so are you to your own little world- unreal yet so real. I wish I could let you be in solace with your innocent self, devoid of all wordly entangles. You learn through observations but you are too tiny to absolve all worldly mysteries so here I pull you out to learn from the observations of others. I understand your tussle between being ‘God’ and a puppet. I undergo the same tussle as I peep unto you. I find bliss when I see you overwhelmed with joy but my fear of the oblivion does not let me be by your side. Once again I indulge in the push and pull, ...
In Oblivion By being oblivious of our surroundings and the creatures around us, we 'make' or 'mar' in incognizance. The so called 'Make' as we call it for ourselves because- stress is in the air and further choking us as we try hard to accommodate beyond our capacities; we need to learn to say 'no' instead of unduly pressurising ownself; enjoyment and recreation have been redefined. This ideology of accommodating all by being a part of our surroundings was eccentric  to our earlier generations and moving away from it, unknowingly has more than 'marred' our kinship. It is only as good as allowing a narcissist to dwell believing 'my survival devoid of yours...'. Technology has enslaved us. We have lost our fitness to it, our comprehension, intelligence, perception...(all antonyms for stupidity) to it, our liveliness (all that shows we are alive) to it, our sensitivity ...
